In the acclaimed book Heat, author Bill Buford recounts the 15 months he spent in the kitchen of a famous Italian restaurant in New York. Buford trailed a celebrity chef and worked as his kitchen slave, attempting to learn as much as he could. Buford was determined to work in the restaurant kitchan and trans** himself into a professional cook. During his time there, Buford endured long hours standing on his feet, burning his arms and cutting his fingers. At the end of his trial period, he had achieved his goal. He became a competent cook who had gained an awareness of the professional kitchen.
누가봐도 엄청나게 쉬운 내용인데 문제는 답변단 애들이 하나같이 kitchen slave 를 부엌노예로 적어놨더라고.
